The most spontaneous thing I've done is head out on long road trips. Sometimes I'd leave the house thinking I'd be gone for a couple hours, and end up coming home a week later. I used to keep my vehicle packed with the essentials, so I was always prepared for whatever, wherever I ended up.

Best 8 years of my entire life, when I was able to travel extensively around BC, AB and the Yukon. /-Thumbs-up::/

I love being spontaneous. It helps having money to cover the costs of anything that you may have overlooked making a choice on a whim. But I got by just fine without that when I was younger.
