How to download music into my Ipod?.

I think you need the iTunes programme on your computer to easily transfer music to your iPod. You can purchase music from Apple, find free music on the Internet (although it's mostly illegal), or turn your CD's into MP3 format and drag the tunes into the iTunes programme. When you hook up your iPod next time it should all transfer over.

Many audio programmes can do it--just put the CD into the computer and convert. I use Exact Audio Copy, which I can tweak for my needs. I think iTunes will do it too, although it will not be MP3, it'll be whatever the iPod uses best (an Apple programme). An iPod can play MP3, the Windows format (.wmv I think), the Apple format (I'm thinking it's .aac), or even uncompressed audio (.wav files in Windows) but it'll fill up pretty fast if everything is uncompressed.

You'll probably have to do lots of reading to figure it all out if you don't have someone to walk you through it.

A reminder that ITUNES is an APPLE invasive product and will report back to Apple on a regular basis...................Same thing with Google
