Argh, I've had this discussion with so many people... I do think "surf" sounds better, but the "C" in "Canadian" is a hard c, so I've been pronouncing it as such - "Kaerf." On the other hand, using the soft c means that I can call you guys "surfers" (which sounds a whole lot better than "Kaerfers" or "Kaerfites").

The part that I still don't get - what the hell is the "F" doing there?!? Is it meant to represent "forum" even though it's still considered a "review board?" Or does it stand for something else entirely?
