The were screwing people wrongly charging for fees they shouldn't have been charging for, lose a lawsuit and NOW want to charge the same people extra for their mistake.

What this country needs is a rebellion kinda like whats going on in the mid east these days. Politicians (regardless of political affiliation) just do whatever the fuk they want as soon as they are elected.

So they are found guilty and must pay the $$ to a "charity". Then they get to re-coup this money another way?

Sorry, this is like robbing a variety store, getting caught, having to pay back what you stole, but then being allowed to legally take that amount from other variety stores....

Just a head's up:

I wrote Tony Clement the MPP for my area about this....

Maybe if everyone did one of them would step up and put a halt to this madness......I mean, I thought monopolies were illegal in Canada? It's not like we can go somewhere else and get our power from.....

This reminds me of the guy in Eastern Ontario who put up a windmill on his property. Ontario Hydro started charing HIM for the power HE generated with the argument that they had exclusive rights to all power generated in Ontario.

Well a judge overrulled them and forced them to instigate a policy that anyone generating power and putting it into the grid has to be paid by Ontario Hydro for that power they are generating... At least ONE person has some fricken common sense.....
