But I am guilty of sometimes saying racist things. Is it possible to sometimes say racist things and not be a recist?

I think it depends on what you say and how you say it.

For one thing, I don't see calling someone a paki is racist, IMO it's just too fricken long to say pakistani......kind of like saying someone is a "jew" instead of "jewish". I mean, even jews call themselves jews.......

But I have been known to use racial derogatives to describe the worst of the worst. I would have no problem using the N word to describe a black man who raped a kid. NO problem whatsoever........but to describe some friends who are black? Never......(for one, I rarely see them as "black", I just see them as them if that makes any sense).

??? If someone is not racist, it's not possible for them to say racist things. Racism is 99% an accusation from someone else who thinks your saying something racist. Racism is a social construction, as a matter of fact so is the the concept of "race" itself.

The point being, if you call someone a Jew it's up to them to decide if your making a racist comment.

If I am walking down a street late at night and I see 4 or 5 guys dressed up with shaved heads in Nazi uniforms, or drunk and aggressive, I'd be equally as nervous.
