When girls use 'I had to hold back tears' to get sympathy from others.

Does using the phrase 'I had to hold back tears' make any difference to this occurance. Why do women feel the need to constanly evoke sympathy unto themselves?

So many times in my life I have had a girl say to me:

'I am scared of you.'

And its always when I call a girl out on her bullshit and won't give in to her. So she uses the 'I am scared of you' rescue line.

Sounds to me MAL is willing to present issues that many of us are afraid to confront without hurting other people's feelings. Anyway I have heard some men said the same thing, I am scared of you. In reality men and women evoke reactions from others which I completely concur, it is annoying.
