Made with Love

I just read on another board that SP prefer 1.5 hour bookings so they can get to know us.

I respect all sp because they have to deal with men's ego and put up with our childish behavior. But why would you want to know us better when you may never see us again?. Why would I want to know you better when I may never see you again?.

Are they forgetting that we pay them for our entertainment and for them to leave after the hour?. And no, sp should not take this as an insult, it's what it is.

No disrespect at all on my part, just found this comment a money grab.

Thank you for letting me throw in my 2 cents.

Anecdotal but the poll I made is mostly split between 30 & 60 Minute sessions as a preference.

Not sure its all money as mentioned in in that thread that 30 mins are better cash. Personally I don't mind an 60 or 90 minutes. The hair trigger of youth has long disappeared and I actually need that much time.

The SP that posted it has a history of being bias and too full of herself. So don't read too much into it.

I prefer 90 minutes of playtime for so many reasons, but that’s also why I adjust the compensation for my time accordingly.
One of the reasons IS for a more relaxed pace so I can guage my playmate’s needs, wants and desires better. For those playing for the first time, anxiety is usually through the roof and a longer date ensures enough time to calm the nerves and still have an enjoyable explosive experience. I think that was the question posed in the original thread you are referring to, correct? Why is a 90min date preferred for a first date?
For those who prefer multiple rounds, 90 minutes gives us enough downtime in between to play multiple times and that makes me ecstatic! I luuuuuuuuuuv making a person cum three times. Or twice if they need more time to recover or play Donkey Kong Jr with me :biggrin2:
Maybe women just prefer playing at a different pace than men? :unknw: Every female playmate of mine except for one goes with at least 90mins. Or maybe, in my case, they think they are getting a “better deal” than if they went with an hour. I’ve never thought to ask. I am so fortunate to be able to have multiple orgasms and am eager to truly know another intimately even if I may never see them again.

Edit: I’ve never “required” a date or asked for a date to be 90mins or longer unless it was an outcall situation where my travel time far exceeded playtime.

I like a guy with stamina. 30 mins is not enough time for us to really get into it. In my opinion.

If you want quick and fast and one shot, book 30 mins with others but I never go 30 mins and the only clients I take at the 30 mins rate is first time "meet and greet" style new clients or regular clients who I have seen from like 15 years ago but they only pay the 30 mins. Usually stay an hour or so.

My hour clients usually stay 90 mins. I would say that most clients stay 30 mins over time with me on a regular basis. It may not be sex the whole time. A couple rounds for sure but then coffee before, during intermission or after, with some chit chat to catch up. So paid time is sex and chit chat is OTC. Ish. Usually. It is my way to have both, connection and sex. Seems like a happy compromise to me.

However, book whatever you want. What we prefer doesn't really mean shit. You are the one booking so I don't see the isssue.

Argh I seem to be the only chick who really digs the half hour calls as much as the hour, or hour +. I love the intensity of just getting into the action before the door even closes, with someone who also enjoys it. I find it isn't really a deterrent to a connection if the client has vetted me or seen me before. I love high energy passionate quickies more than anything else and really get off on watching my client stumbling weak kneed to the door once our time is up.

I have a client I see for 4hrs usually.

Trust me the session starts before the door is closed. Ends with him backing out the door because his lips are still on mine. We need the jaws of life to separate us.

We usually break around 2.5 hrs in for coffee. Then back at it for the last hour.

Everything you discribed happens for us. High energy for the entire time, weak knees, etc.

But as as I said, I like stamina. I prefer an hour of high intensity over the 10-15 mins you get of it in a 30 mins appt. not all longer appointments are for chit chat. LOL

The range of responses just goes to show you that there is something for everyone. Some Clients and Sps just like to get to the action so 30 mins is fine. Others like (or need) a longer session.

If someone says they prefer you book for 90 minutes and that's not your thing than find someone more in tune with you.

Right? That is the truest beauty about this hobby.

Same goes for price point, screening, services and just plain attitude during the initial contact.

I get the slightest bit of coldness I back away and cut the communication off or if the other factors do not make me comfortable I don't even bother contacting the lady in the first place.

I resisted replying on the other board but I've haven't offered anything less than 90 minutes since the early 2000's. I don't have clocks in my space and I've always been overly generous with time so I decided to build it into my business model and it works. Less than 10% of my established guests stay less than 2 hours and I truly wish I had done it in my 20's. I like low volume, I LOVE entertaining and the bottom line is my work is about me enjoying what I do. If some want to believe it's about $, then that's ok. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. What I think is important is that there are as many different business models to meet every unique demand. Why does a client fret over a providers business model that doesn't work for a him when there are so many providers for him to choose from? Unless a client simply wants what he wants on the terms he wants to dictate regardless of what business model a provider has chosen? If that's what the issue is then it's actually quite unacceptable to expect a provider to provide a service under business model she didn't choose simply because a client wants her to. Interesting to wonder the original posters motivation...

Excellent post cat. However, IMHO, the whole industry is shifting in the ladies favor. I remember back in the day, I could see a totally gorgeous SP, like Shannon @ Roommates for $140, for the half hour. Those days are long over---LOL

Even agencies, who still offer half an hr appts, are getting more and more conscience of the time. There was a recent thread on the red board, about this very topic.

IMHO, less wealthy clients, are gently getting tossed out of this industry. As usual, just my opinion!!

I agree, it seems to be happening more often with reputable providers. I remember when I started in 1987, in Toronto at all agencies it was $265 for the happy ending or the hour which ever came first; outcall only. All we did was show up for our shift and pay for our pagers. Today the hourly is holding at $250. So I hope this trend is actually a correction in pricing within the industry. There's been no wage increase in 30 years and the overhead for reputable providers is high. Providing a private incall, advertising, admin all add up. The truth is that ethical no name providers who make no investment in their business earn considerably more take home than most reputable, mid-priced providers. Those of us who commit to it, aren't generally compensated for it adequately. This is an industry that really doesn't have a strong ROI for independent providers who invest in their business. There are lots of affordable providers but what they charge means they aren't willing to invest in their business the same way. No pro pics, no websites, shared hotel type incalls.

Companionship is a luxury, is it not? One can't obtain quality experiences cheaply in any other aspect of life. The cost of living in TO alone is overwhelming. And in all honesty for the all the stigma/fall out providers deal with they need to be paid accordingly. If they aren't, they can end up in the situations we all wince at. Simply hobby less to see the provider that one wants to see or chose a provider who has a pricing structure that works with the budget at hand. I don't mean to sound cold but I've seen the gutting of our industry from the inside. Unethical pressure to perform unsafe services, extortive/corrosive review culture, price carving have all had a very negative impact on ethical providers. Providers know what they need to make being in this industry worthwhile and there is a whole host of clients (that I suspect outnumber the board users) that don't question the fees. None of my foundation clients have ever joined a review board. Those are the clients that these providers are targeting and catering to.

I recommend clients on a budget find providers who have retainer options, get to know her, become a good client and then inquire about her retainer. I have several clients who have had me on retainer since 2005. They get amazing rates compared to my rates today and I have a budget-able income. My retainer involves prepaying for 4 visits to be used within 1 calendar year so it's easily ended, no long term commitments. It's allowed me to almost eliminate advertising and administration which is a huge financial saving for me. Win/Win. What seems to be the problem is that most clients want cheap rates and not to be a bankable client for the provider; so where is the motivation for a provider to offer lower rates/shorter times if she's probably never going to see a client again? Constantly advertising, verifying, dealing with the constant ns/wot nonsense takes a toll both financially and mentally so isn't it smarter to target clients that will stay longer, get to know her and probably come back over and over. Just food for thought...

Has it really though? In my tenure in the hobby prices have not changed in 15+ years. I remember when Roommates changed their 1 hour rates from $200 to $240 when MSoG became a common expectation. That never changed until they closed shop (rip :Crying/:) Considering how much everything else has inflated over the decades we're very fortunate that prices in the industry have changed so little.

Maybe with social media, us as clients perceive that the needle is moving upwards against our favour but I think history shows otherwise. There have always been different levels for client; Morgan van Lief and T.I.E. (spiritual precursor to Allegra) comes to mind as an example for us old timers. A lot of the SPs with the high rates were never as accessible as they are now. Ten years ago $300 was high rate so how shocking is it that it's moved 17% to $350 in that time? Less than 2% per year?

Bottom line is that the industry accomodates all experiences and budgets. I have a practical limit for basic hourly rate that I stick too. It's what I'm comfortable with and no one is forcing me to see someone outside that limit. I've had to stop seeing someone I enjoy and have seen regularly over the last 2-3 years because her rates went beyond what I was comfortable with.

There are many reasons why our rates increase!

I've slowly but surely raised mine over the years in 20 or 30 dollar increments, giving clients plenty of notice before doing so, even grandfathering rates for regulars an additional 6 mths past the well noted in advance increase deadline.

This is mostly due to the increased cost of running my business or overhead (e.g. condo maintenance fees, property taxes, mortgages, advertising, utilities, insurance, etc.). I work from my house and home now so for discretionary reasons can't have neighbours seeing an assembly line of clients forcing me to see fewer gents at a minimum 1 hr, thus eliminating hh's. Also, I'm older now and don't want to be rushed anymore. I much prefer taking my time and getting to know clients better, truly entertaining them both in the living room and bedroom. I've built a brand and reputation over the years allowing me to take my business in the direction I want to, like any other well established business. Many long standing company's no longer take on little jobs, only big ones, leaving the little ones to the fledgling or starter businesses. Why should our industry be any different?

Honestly, try seeing something from the other person's perspective before assuming it's a cash grab!
