I think she really didn't care if she lived or died and therefore pulled the trigger. When she woke up, she realized she wanted to live.

I dont think she wants attention. No one goes through that many surgeries for attention. Not facial surgery. The pain associated with all of that is not something I wish on my worst enemy. So I can't see it being attention seeking.

Very sad sad story with a better ending then what it could have been.
