I think I am in love: Miss U.S. 2012 Whitney Miller, submission fighter?

Miss United States 2012 Whitney Miller wants to show that she's got some toughness underneath her beauty pageant exterior. The former professional wake surfer out of Texas has now taken up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the base style of MMA.
In the video below, Miller talks about why she decided to get into fighting, how her family reacted when she did and what she likes about training. Also, check out footage of Miller training with the likes of UFC featherweight Cub Swanson and competing at her first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament.
Miiller says there is truth in fighting and that she's in it for the long-haul. She also wants to show others that anyone can do martial arts training.
"What I want to show you guys is that you can go out there and do anything," she says.
"If a beauty pageant queen, a national pageant winner, miss United States, can go earn their Jiu Jitsu black belt, granted that's going to take a long time, if I can go and do that you have no excuses."

BJJ is a fun and very challenging sport. I just keep getting injured in it :Crying2: (Broke one leg, and torn the ACL in the other a year and a half later...And awaiting surgery.) I was great to watch her preform...Though I caught myself calling instructions during the matches, lol.
