I suppose we could ask the animal who gave it permission to eat whatever it eats, lol... nature.

Some animals might say, would you like to be treated as you treat me......could you handle the pain, the torture, the confinement, the beatings.....please eat to survive, as we do, stop your gluttony and if you're going to compare yourselves to us (other animals), then do so also when your mistreating us and justifying that mistreatment by saying your the superior animal

Why do people think humans are ruled by something so different than any other creature?

Not all animals are just the innocents you seem to think they are. Ever see a tiger go on a killing spree? They didn't have to kill just to eat, they also do it for fun. Ever see an Orca playing with it's prey sea lion? Again, it's not just killing to survive. Lot's of creatures are dicks to other creatures....I don't see why humans have to be any different. Hell Cristy, you benefit by having a career that caters to men's basic instincts. Why do people think humans are ruled by something so different than any other creature?

I'll ask you....have you seen a tiger on a killing spree, and afterwards did the tiger tell you just why he or she killed? People believe they are ruled by something different , because they believe they are different and that they are a superior being.

@Primo-Wrong...because humans aren't driven by a "need" to survive, they are driven by other instincts, and are just needy. In your eutopia of live and let live, and where you think everyone and everything is equal, your reasoning would be great and realistic, but in modern society, everyone and everything isn't, humans dictate what other humans can and cannot do, they also dictate how other species live and die.
You seem to think I want other people to live as I do, or to do as I do, that too is wrong. I simply would like humans to realize that they are part of this planet, not owners of it, nor are they entitled to raping it of all it bears. We've so exploited nature, we'll never return to a way of life that will sustain the planet and all it's inhabitants, as humans we simply can't because we're greedy, driven not by survival, but by wanting more than we need.
