I also requested to befriend a couple of members that I would like to interact personally with. After a few no shows I pm Oceanus and asked him where and what is the beef?. His replied was pretty straight forward.

Now it makes sense to me. If you log on from your Iphone, tablet, blackberry etc... You cannot read their messages. So I forgive you all that never replied to my private chat. I take the voodoo doll back without the pins on your handle.
