Other States will be following soon?.

Thoughts?.

Rubio, though, did something the other candidates did not. He more directly addressed the charge that businesses could discriminate against gay and lesbian couples.

Gay rights advocates, for example, say if a gay or lesbian couple wanted a flower arrangement or cake for a reception, a florist or caterer could lawfully choose not to fill the order, if they have a religious objection.

Rubio said he thinks businesses should have that right.

[h=2]How major celebrities and businesses are reacting to Indiana’s religious freedom law[/h]

I put it like this to those who are "for" giving businesses the right to pick and choose their customers. Will you allow Muslim businesses to refuse to serve Jews, Christians or other infidels? If you think that it's wrong for Muslim taxi drivers to refuse to pick up people with dogs or alcohol (because of their religious beliefs), then you should be able to see why it's wrong to deny homosexual customers your products or services.

On the other side, should a female exotic dancer be "forced by law" to provide lap dances to lesbian customers? Should the Chippendale's dancers be forced by law to swing their dicks in a homosexual male customers face if they don't feel comfortable about it.

What if an Amish guy goes to a homosexual designer for new clothes...should the designer be forced to make very simple clothes that aren't fabulous?

Where do homosexual proctologists fit into the spectrum?

How about this. Every business should serve any customer that comes along. If you can't do that, then get out of the business and try something else. On the other side, if some business treats you differently based on your gender, sexual preference, race, religion, etc., you move on and find another business that will serve you....that's why we have more than one of each kind of business out there.

Common fucking sense people.

I've heard the extremes of what the Indiana law actually means...but I just don't have the time or inclination to read and try and decipher it. Word is, the law is the same as it is at the federal level and in other states. Whatever.....see above!

What he said.

I got a little "randy" when you mentioned Amish.

PREACH!

AHHHHH....that's overrated.

And yet the Kosher deli near me, still refuses to make me a BLT or a Cheese Steak Sub.

That's kind of a silly analogy.

You can't tell a person what products he must sell, only that he must sell his products to whoever wants them. Now if the Kosher Deli says he won't sell you beef brisket because he doesn't approve of your lifestyle, then they are in the wrong.

Unless they say it's based upon their religious views.

They are doing it because of their religious believes.

Bunch of crap, they are just racist rednecks.

North Carolina has similar legislation pending, with this additional twist...it would also allow Magistrates (who perform weddings) and Registers of Deeds (who issue marriage licenses) to opt out of doing that part of their job.

It's ridiculous, and I really hope it doesn't pass.
