Let me get this straight...............................

Intel lays off American workers to reduce costs but then hires foreign workers to come to America and work for the company. Then, Intel claims they can't find enough homegrown American IT talent to fill available positions, hence the push for H1B visas.

Right..............................if you believe that, you probably believe in the tooth-fairy.

Fucking disgrace of a company.

I am a libertarian and don't believe in passports, borders, immigration laws etc. But, at least be honest about it Intel. If you want to get less expensive labour, move your operations overseas and be honest about your activities.

Tell me, with dozens of universities such as Vanderbilt, NYC, Harvard, MIT, University of Pennsylvania etc., how can U.S. companies claim that not enough domestic IT talent exists within the U.S.

All the great IT giants - Gates, Jobs, Ellison etc. came within the borders of the U.S.

All comes down to dollars and cents. Cheaper labor makes the rich richer.

Why sweat it dude, nothing we can do about it. Even not voting won't work they are all losers.

This should answer your question. They just don't want to work, trust me if you do there is always a way.

The percentage of Americans now receiving a federally-funded “means-tested program” now stands at 35.4%. When you add pensions, unemployment, Social Security, and Medicare to the mix, the percentage of Americans relying on government for part or all of their subsistence is 49.5% of the American population
