I know some guys that won big lotto prizes, gave their wives half and told them to GTFO!
They both referred to them as their starter wives.
Always thought they were total bastards for that but they did give them half before leaving. One I am still in touch with and he's truly happy with life he leads and will never want for money, neither will his ex-wife and kids. This is someone that I used to work and I never asked him what the motive was but knowing how happy he is now, there must have been a reason for his actions.
The other guy lost touch with about 10 years ago but he was a douchebag.
