Is It Just Me....

Then book sp that are over 30 years old. They are better in giving you pleasure.
There is that. Though, I find it much mort difficult to find these matured ladies. Plus it doesn't help me to connect with them. Plus I often hear a little voice in the back of my head which, when I look at attractive ladies says "not for you, fat boy".

Dave if I have been reading carefully all this time. You are in pretty good shape now are you not?

It's unfortunate that our own self-perception doesn't always change when the outside of us does. I still see Fat when I look in the mirror, and probably always will.

I'm getting there. Still overweight though. 193lbs @ 5' 8". I'm aiming for around 175.

I had to 'reset' my presses, so I could correct my form, as I was encountering shoulder pains.

I get just silly on the treadmill, using the speed intervals program. It has me doing a fast walk (3.8mph) for a minute, the run (9mph) for a minute. I'll do that for a half hour. It's not until the last couple of intervals that I'm able to push my heart rate over 170bpm. I have to admit it's a blast to watch my bpm drop about 30bpm in under a minute. Plus I'm getting more used to nose breathing.

The main goal is to bring my weigh down. According to my scale, I have a lean body weight of around 140lbs. So 170-175 should be a decent goal to start with.

sorry dude, 140 lbs at 5'8" is waaay too thin. If you were a long distance runner maybe but for the average guy? noooooo. I'm 5-8 175-180 and that's about right.....though since I work construction there's not much padding (yah, I have a little around the middle but hey, i'm fricken 50!!).

I'm 5'8" and a bit heavy at 170 lbs, I'm noticing my shirts are getting tight around the belly.
I remember being 150 lbs about two years ago and feeling a lot better.
