A coworker told me it is. Just look at all the obese or big people that can't or don't want to lose weight.

Its all about being responsible, which means not blaming natural foods, for being fat losers.

Our society has so much hatred for drugs but when it comes to eating junk food which can have just as bad consequences, we don't say anything...

It should all be freedom of choice anyhow. Who's to tell someone else they can't be a 400 pounder?! IF it makes them happy and it doesn't bother you, who cares. Let people smoke, do drugs, get fat, have unprotected consensual sex......just let them deal with the consequences. As discussed elsewhere...you all feel you have some say in how people live because you have taxes taken from you to take care of them. That's why we fight so hard against nationalized health care here in the US. It's not that we don't want to help people, we just don't want to be told that we have to help even the most self destructive people and we don't like the government telling us how to live our lives.

Unfortunately as discussed before we the tax payers have to pay for their addictions. It doesn't make sense to me but I do get your point.

Everybody, one way or the other, has to pay for addicts, not just all tax payers, but families, and anybody who unfortunately have had interactions of any kind with them.

Those with high cholesterol.

Blame it on sugar and you will be right.
