But you really don't have to die first, years ago I saw this drawing of the space shuttle by the artist du jour....it was done in crayon and looked like a 4 yr old drew it....it sold for something like half a mil at the time....ridiculous.

BTW: Ansel Adams was famous while he was alive and while some of his photos were pretty damn nice, many more were just ...yawn...ho hum......

True, but his greatest achievement to photography came not from his pictures, rather from his developing technique which was coined 'The Zone System', which is 'concerned with control of image values, ensuring that light and dark values are rendered as desired'. It was this that developed into light meters and proper exposures which allowed light and dark areas of the photographs to have detail which was lost before.

The cheap digital cameras have an amazing amount of technology in them, and has been shown, can take an amazing picture; heck I still use mine quite often if I'm in an environment that I do not want to expose my good cameras to. Great pictures folks!

When I am invited into somebodies house my first glances goes to the Art on the wall....
If I see prints I think well......that nice....
If I see paintings done by Artist I find that interesting....
But it is the person who show their work on the wall even if it is a baby pic they took....well that shows me
an artist at work......rare.....

My Niece does photos of New York.......And Israel.........also a few others.....India....
