30 years ago today, Dave Winfield of the NY Yankees was charged by police with cruelty to animal, he killed a seagull, protected by the wild life laws. His throw back to the ball boy just happened to clip a seagull on the field.

I guess the Orioles hated Mr. Winfield. I always thought he was a good guy, one of the few that could have played baseball, basketball or football as a pro.
