Well first, I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. :Crying/:
Went online and found some 'unexplained weirdness' had happened on another forum of which I am a member, but whatever ... :no:
It was warm and sunny here today. It feels weird and wrong to have such nice weather when hundreds of thousands of Canadians are suffering in the cold, dark ice storms out east. :sad:
Loooong line ups at the grocery store at 8am with one cashier working on check out. Hmmmmmm
Stand in line for a long time while cashier discusses her vacation plans with the customer in line ahead of me. Funky & Music
Distracted cashier neglects to ring through and pack a major item and I don't notice until I'm back home again. I don't know if she set it aside to ring up last or what but it didn't end up in my bags or on the receipt. :search:
I'm outside waiting for a cab when the manager comes out to tell me the distracted cashier also forgot to give me the $2 off another item, but the cab pulled up, so I told him to forget about it. :don'twantto-see:/
The cab driver is an irritating newbie who breaks all the cab company rules so he can steal calls from other drivers. He forgot to turn on the meter, forgot to call in when he picked me up, didn't offer to help put my groceries in the car, and even when I gave him a big undeserved tip, I still had to ask him to help carry the bags in when I got out. I glanced out the window just as the cab pulled out into traffic right in front of another car when he left. :NoNoNo:
It's like all the grown ups are too excited about Christmas to focus on what they're supposed to be doing. Hmmmmmm
