Get this: I had a customer bitch and complain that I couldn't finish his deck on the weekend and said "it's july, it's supposed to be hot"......

So yesterday I worked 15 hrs straight from 6 am to 9pm to finish it and when he arrived at 8 he had the balls to say "see, you didn't die" fucking asshole.....

No I didn't die but I burned the fuck outta my legs on the shingles I was putting on the roof of his shed and had to wear gloves because the tools were too hot to hold on to.....oh and I didn't tell him about the spots I was seeing in front of my eyes, the fact that I was dizzy, or the pounding headache I had......

But funny how you get "used" to temp changes....After I was done yesterday and drove home (2 hrs) with the windows down, when I got north of barrie and the temp dropped to 25, I was just this side of "cold" lol.....I put the windows up cuz I was getting chilly......

The thing is, I do try to be fair when paying temp help who assist me and with billing, yet both seem to think they're worth more than they are (in the former) and I should be working for free (in the latter).

Like the couple 2 yrs ago who thought I should provide $27,000.00 worth of work free because they paid me $30,000.00 to do other work....SO effectively they expected me to work for nothing, or $3,000.00 to do $57,000.00 worth of work.....

BTW: I wrote him an email and it in stated that his comment was uncalled for. He didn't apologize, he simply "agreed" that it was uncalled for.....
