That's the thing that always struck me about radical leftists, their commitment to a total, systemic, top-down 'revolution' places the matter very conveniently out of their own reach. By pinning their hopes to a perfect, ideal, impossible future, they absolve themselves of any responsibility to help the poor and suffering in the here-and-now. The churches and Christian missionaries they malign do infinitely more to help the world's poor than they do.
