makes me think I should get a 4 legged companion again. Had an English Setter, and a Lab who was the smartest dog I have ever seen and the only Lab that wasn't food crazy. I only see him sporadically now as he is with the ex and the kids. Best of luck with the new pup, I agree loves dogs but the training period can be trying.

Thanks. It took a lot longer than I thought. Wanted to make sure the breeder was reputable, vet checks and papers were in order, and my life could accommodate him. Glad I waited until I knew both the time and dog were right.
