I was reading on the toronto star website today (I think it was the star) on how we can only expect days like this and unsettled weather to worsen. The leading Canadian Climatologist was saying that we used to only see 4 days a year over 20 deg C at night and how now we're seeing 8 or more....

What the fuck is this guy saying? FOUR nights a year over 20? Where is he measuring the temps, nunavit? I personally remember weeks of nights over 20.....and some so hot even the A/C had trouble keeping up.....I mean, I lost many a night's sleep due to the heat at night because I couldn't afford a/c......little did I know that even though my thermometer said it was 30, it was really only 19 or less....all I had to do was put a couple of fans in the windows...oh wait, I did that....

WTF is up with people????

So true. I do remember many sleepless nights that I said WTF. Now it is no big deal but the media is making it sem like the end of the world.

Damn them...

WTF is up with people????

WTF is up with people????

Spoiled big time....Not much more to say.

I don't know if spoiled is the term, but how can a "leading" climitologist make such a blatantly untrue statement.....and how can any reporter take that verbatim?

Post a link please. I have to read this with my own eyes.

Thanks.

Climate change my hairy ass. I don't buy into it or let me rephrase that, I don't buy into man made climate change!! Now if everyone will excuse me I need to go off and dip my hairy ass into a bowl of ice water.

I used to believe in AGW, but have come to the realization that "they" don't know.

I'll post a link if I can find it, it was a few days ago.....

Here it is, and I missed the part about the 4 nights being "a century ago"....even though the next highest temp record was in 1933.......

Bringing up an old thread to make a point about global warming.

Yes, nothing much has changed.
