Lets be fair. There is no point in comparing KFC to coq au vin at a fine restaurant.

The only reasonable question: How does it stack up compared to the other fast food chicken , burgers, tacos etc.?
Da Bear is therefore your ideal reviewer. I  cream, butter, fat, salt, carbs and happily eat a LOT of fast food.

On that basis the KFC Double is -5 on a scale of -10*_+10 !:grrrrrr:

The chicken- Two OVER thick pieces of breaded stuff. Slightly dry white meat (I generally avoid Fast Food white chicken for this reason). Hell there is so much chicken you can't even appreciate the Colonel's 'secret blend'.

The bacon- I think I tasted it in a couple of bites. Not enough, not crispy.

The cheese- I think I tasted something 'cheese like' in a couple of bites.

The sause- A delicate hint of something vaguely offensive/chemical.

SALT! OMFG, too much for this glutton.

For me KFC is the last act of a desperate man.

Super Walmarts make a decent fried chicken as does a supermarket near me.

That whole double thing just cries out gain weight and have heart attacks.

Each bite you take is 200 calories. Eat the whole thing and is your daily intake. Ahhhhhhhh

You are completely wrong.

There are 540 calories in a KFC Double Down Sandwich (460 in grilled version). The recommended calorie intake for an adult male is between 2000 & 2500 calories.

It does however, have over 1300 gms of sodium, more than the recommended intake.

Bear you really should consider cooking, as a fellow lap dog I can state that there is absolutely nothing more sensual then cooking. The sense of smell is the greatest influence on the brain. To have a little garlic and onion starting to saute, some opera in the background, the bouquet of a wonderful red wine, that is foreplay.

CYCLE GUY- Do NOT LOOK!

CYCLE GUY- Do NOT LOOK!

Telling someone to "not look" is pretty much a dare! LOL

Truth is, this is really no different that any other "fast food" out there! I use the term "fast food" in quotations because it really isn't "FOOD" at all! Sure you can eat it, but it has very little (if any) ACTUAL nutritional value. It is empty calories... and A LOT OF THEM! There's a reason people that eat a lot of fast food have a lot of health problems! Their bodies just don't know how to process THAT much garbage and eventually they start to rebel, and shut down. I'm willing to bet that there are more health related problems caused by poor eating habits that virtually everything else put together.

Look at the items on the menu at pretty much ANY fast food restaurant and they are designed for one thing. Addicting you to eating more of it.

Do yourself and your loved ones a favour and steer clear of this and all things processed. Instead, take Laggy's advice and learn the foreplay that he speaks of. It will be better tasting, better for you and you may just have some fun while you are at it. :great:

Ugh, I tried it today and it was sooooo gross... I mostly just wanted to see what all the hype was about, and now that I know, I won't have to try it ever again. :beurk:

Very true - the olfactory system is the only one that bypasses the thalamus and sends signals directly to the medial amygdala, which is involved in attraction and mating in mammals.

In lay terms, this means that all our other senses are routed through a central processing system, before our brains interpret the signals. But for our sense of smell, signals from pleasant odours go directly to the area of our brain related to sexual stimulation. Estrogen is an enhancing hormone, and increases one's sense of smell by a wide margin (I can personally attest to this) which means women are much more sensitive to smells than men.

In short, smells can turn us on (or off) without us having to think about them. So guys, if you want to turn on a woman, make sure you keep your hygeine top notch, and learn how to cook!
