I don't think it is weed fabric. People use it to go around the bottom of trees or around their gardens. I dunno. I just don't like how it looks.

I will get some mulch on Friday along with a few more flowers and a puppy statue that I saw. It is sooooo cute!

The only thing for weeds that they sell here now is Eco-Weed-Be-Gone.

I'm pretty excited about this. It is all new to me...I don't know what Im doing but it is entertaining.

Is Preen available to you Amy? I used it last year and was happy with how much it suppressed the weeds.

And my comment about playing basketball indoors was that you most likely don't have the right ceiling height. Let's assume you have an 8'-0" ceiling. For any realistic chance of playing basketball you'd have to be exceptionally small.......like about 4'-9" or 4-10" if you round up.

I need to decide on what I want for edging. I pulled out all the plastic black stuff cuz blah!

Not sure if you have a Lowes nearby but I saw a couple of things there last night that may help.

1. They now have a variety of edging material that can be linked together and hammered into the ground in different sizes and patterns. Much more variety then the black shit you removed from the ground.
2. Lowes now has a mulch material that has been laced with an agent that kills weeds. It comes in black and brown. I'm going to be trying this.

The Lowes near me only has big rustic options with edging. I saw smaller brown wooden fence looking posts at Jysk that I may try even though they are pricier just cuz they look more...hmm pristine? I will have to give it some thought.

I think I may try carrying a patio stone home one at a time. It's not like I need my arms for anything else after.

Sheridan plants come with a two year warranty on perennials. As long as you keep the receipts they will replace dead growth no questions asked. However, they are FAR MORE EXPENSIVE then Lowes, Home Depot and other places. The quality is really good but you have to judge whether or not you want to pay that much especially for annuals. I've had good success with Sheridan in the past but there are just some plants I won't pay what they want for them because I think it's outrageous.

I find the private nursery have a little better selection and product. I prefer one that is on Brock Rd in Pickering just south of Steeles

On my way out the door to my incall today, I noticed that there is grass growing finally where I put the grass seed down. Go figure!

Btw, I have had terrible experiences in the past with indoor plants. I even killed a cactus.
