Tiny retreat, HMS Victory replica and converted Nissen hut
battling to be crowned Britain's best shed of the year
One would be more at home in Doctor Who, the other looks like it should be sailing the high seas.
But both, in fact, are among the imaginative finalists in the Shed Of The Year competition.
The impressive effort in the main picture boasts a bow and a stern, a top deck, rigging, an anchor and a hammock, and even flies the skull and crossbones and the Union Jack.
Inspired by Victory, Nelson’s flagship at Trafalgar, the 30ft long by 15ft high wooden building is currently in what you might call dry dock at the Southampton home of Clare Kapma-Saunders and her husband Hendrick, a commander in the Royal Netherlands Navy.
