Wow....Our teachers go through a battery of tests on the subjects they teach and on general knowledge. My friend's wife wanted to become a teacher but failed the general knowledge test 3 different times. Thank god on behalf of the kids she might have had in class.

Aren't unions great.

They are so full of themselves, that they can't even comprehend that they caused this testing to be instigated, they still believe they are not accountable to ANYBODY, other than themselves.

They are also responsible for increasing, what they call "part time teaching positions", which is actually hilarious, when you think about it

Actually, our teachers have to complete, and graduate with a minimum standard of education, before they can be accepted as teachers, which happens produce a higher standard of education, than in the US.

Maybe your friends wife should have come to Canada, for her education.
