As long as the Conservatives didn't win I am happy, although I am holding my nose.

As a proud union member I say thank you Ontario! I also would like to thank the fatman Ford who unwittingly helped Hudak lose this election.

Great for you, maybe you can cover the next coming tax hike from your party. :grrrrrr:

Gotta hand it to Hudak.

Takes real talent to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

So you guys have abandoned the NDP in favour of the Liberals?

Hudak lost it. He pulled a John Tory and lost a campaign that was his to lose.

That's what I don't understand.....we've been screwed by the PC and Liberals for so long, why doesn't anyone wake up and give someone new a chance to screw us?

I can't believe the McSquinty is in again...jesus I guess people DO like being fucked in the ass......

A friend of mine mentioned that only something like 47% of eligible people voted.....he was saying like "for shame"...I think it's reached a point where people realize that no matter who they vote for, they're screwed so they just don't bother.....

Yeah but its still tough to believe we chose the one that we know for certain is incompetent vs the othe two who are only likely to be. Hudak should do the honorable thing and pull an Iggy.

The problems that we face today are here because the people that work for a living are outnumbered by those that vote for their living.

No really true, thanks to the conservative minded media(majority of the talk shows) there has been a war on the public service and unions which by their nature represent the working class. These were jobs that many would like to have because of their not high pay but decent wage and job security. The notion of driving everyone's wages down and making jobs temporary in nature only benefits the corporations who do not want long term employees because of the inherit extra cost it brings to their bottom lines. Managers and CEO's have been lining their pockets with exorbitant bonus's while the front line workers have been taking the brunt of society's anger.

This is why for the first time in my life I actually voted NDP. I thought their idea of hitting the corporations with higher taxes BUT allowing a claw back if they create new jobs was brilliant. Mind you like most I did and do fear higher taxes but I agree with Tboy's statement that the Liberals and PC's have screwed us over and over and it's time to take the reins away from both parties. Perhaps a party that doesn't tow the far right or far left political view but instead just a common sense approach and do what's best for the country/province.
