Libya has responded to the U.N. Security Council's resolution for a no-fly zone in that country with a ceasefire. Yesterday the UN Security Council responded to Libya's bombing of its own citizens by approving the no-fly resolution and the use of military force as necessary, to ensure the safety of Libya's citizens.
According to accounts on the ground, Libyan forces are still pounding the rebels with artillery, but the bombing has stopped. Libya's leader, Gaddafi had promised to root out all the rebels from Benghazi, building by building. It is unclear if this has now changed, but rebel fighters in Misurata say they are still under attack by Libyan forces.
