Once I received my $25 Loblaw card, I checked out my local Loblaws store for the first time, and spent the $25. Now I've become a regular customer of Loblaws, and don't go to Metro nearly as often as I used to.

Yes, but for certain foods, Loblaws is actually cheaper then Metro. For example, on foods such as Salsa, 10lb bags of potatoes, no name pasta, brown rice etc etc I switched over to a starch based vegan diet, last June 2017. So I don't buy chicken, meat, cheese or fish anyway.

I've found that my grocery bill has gotten a lot cheaper, and my over all health has improved as well---LOL

Do you find less protein and more starches/carbs have caused any weight gain??

I was thinking of eating less meat myself but want to avoid starchy food.

Hi Madman, I've been following Dr John McDougall's, "the starch solution" diet since June 2017, and have presently lost 25 LBS. Also, my blood pressure has gone down as well, without the use of blood pressure meds.
