Logmein is now what to charge me.

Is there type of free sites that do the same thing they do?.

I used to be able to view files, remote access material ect.. to my work or home computer through logmein. Being the cheapo that I am I am looking for suggestion on other alternative choices.

There is one called "Team viewer" free for personal use but have to download it and doesn't say if they will charge you later.

I have it

You start it on both computers and the host computer is given an access code, you then type it into the remote and you have full control.

There is a remote desktop built into windows that works.

Isn't it better to pay for what is already saved inside your computers?. I am weary on downloading free stuff, if you hit the wrong button you get stuff downloaded into your computers that is a pain to remove.
