Long lost footage discovered. Beavers flying with parachutes

This short excerpt of a film shows something wonderful and weird – beavers being dropped from airplanes with beaver-sized parachutes.

At the time there was an overpopulation of beavers in some regions of Idaho and the department of fish and game came up with the creative solution. Recently the Idaho Historical Society restored the clip, and the film in its entirety can be viewed on YouTube
