We had the family over today. Pool swimming, BBQ, talking about of old times etc.... The younger generation started listening of our experiences and they got into it. I took my old pictures - albums that was gathering dust for many years and to our delight they were impressed.

I showed pictures when I was younger playing sports or just ex girl friends. I must say I needed that.

How proud are you of your old pictures?. How many times do your friends, guests and family members show interest on seeing them?. Not many to my knowledge but when the timing is right it sure does the job.

Just sharing.

Patio, BBQ and drinks seems to be the norm today. Is it because it hit 30 today?.

I need a pool.

My college friends and I get together twice a year. They all live in the U.S. so getting together can be challenging. When we do it's usually at someones house. At some point when the alcohol takes effect the photos come out and the memories start flowing more than the drinks. It's fun to look back at the pictures and think........................WHAT THE FARK WERE WE THINKING?"

I'm like a mobster. I don't let my picture be taken. Ever.
I think there are 3 pictures of me online and none of me in my house.

I'm like Jesus, I have very little pictures of me but Tranny is slowly change that!:grrrrrr:

I've had to leave my life behind and start over so many times, I learned to shed holding on to the past. I have very few pics of myself and I share all of them online but I don't spend time looking at them lol that's silly. If I had held on to pics of my friends and family when I was little, they'd be heartbreaking to look at now.

I love looking at old pictures. That's the problem with digital pics. I never get around to printing them. I've made an effort the past year to enlarge a few special shots for family. But mainly, it's come down to loading what I can on my ipad, so I can at least flip through them at airports and waiting for appointments.

I love looking at my old pictures....I have some that are my Great Great Grand Parents and family...
I always wonder what they were like......I also look at my sisters and brothers...Plus my father...even my mother....I can not bare to look at my Adult past...It has become to difficult....I still have no word from my son.....I am not sure what to do.....but I am planning to go find him.....

You can never change what you've done. It's what you choose to do next that matters. Best of luck.

I enjoy looking at my family album. We usually do it around Christmas get togethers.

I'm not really one for looking at old photos. Mine or anyone else's. I don't know why, it's just something that doesn't occur to me. Guess I'm too busy living in the moment! lol!

i posted a bunch of pics from "back in the day" and all my old cronies posted some that they had too.....was funny......I mean, i look back at those photos and wondered how the hell i ever got laid lol...fuuuuccck......

The only ones my kids seem even remotely impressed about are the ones when I used to play in bar bands.

I don't mind looking at them but when some are forced on you, not that is boring.
