Made with Love

Lucky or good thread.

I would call it dumb-lucky. I would never had driven off knowing there is a tornado in the horizon.

He's living my childhood dream! I used to try to fly like Mary Poppins with my umbrella, but they hadn't invented skateboards yet! LOL

I always wanted to jump from my balcony but realized the umbrella just wouldn't hack it.

I took that leap of faith around age 8, right off the roof of my parents' house.

Damn umbrella inverted itself as I sped to earth. *

* Still grateful it was a bungalow, not a 3-storey McMansion.

HA!

Did the exact same thing in high school of my parent's house roof. Seemed like a brilliant idea at the time. Then again pretty much anything seems like a great idea when alcohol is involved. In my case my umbrella did not invert so for a second I sensed resistance and a feeling that I would be brought back down gently.

Unfortunately, physics being what it is the entire trip took about 3 seconds from lift off to landing. Simple math therefore tells you I free fell for about 2 seconds. A trip to the hospital later confirmed I had no permanent injuries but called into question my decision making abilities.
