Sherpas who attacked three European climbers on Everest were angry at the disrespect shown by “luxury adventurers” who demand tea in their tent on the world’s highest peak, a British member of the group has claimed.

Well, I'm of mixed opinion here. Some tourists can be real dicks, but getting into a brawl at the side of Everest can be dangerous, and these people depend on the Sherpas to get them up and down safely.

They should be reminded that money talks.

The Nepalese government charged 337 climbers £2.2 million, about $3.4 million, last year for permits alone.

Of course, how much of that do these sherpas see?

Those that ask for tea on mount Everest have too much money to waste.
