First question that came to mind was: was this to get the women out of a speeding ticket? If so, nail the cop to the wall. If they were friends/lovers, ach, no big deal....just make it public and remind the cops not to do stupid things...

As for the original post: is it against the law? Not according to the article but you can kind of side with the cops on this one, I mean, look what happens when the public film them every second of every day? Any slight error and the public (here included) want to hang, draw, and quarter them.......
