Nothing in that news report about ordering lunch. Simply a reference to the sidewalk location where the stabbing took place . . . and where he continued to stand while calling his family to say goodbye, just in case he doesn't survive.

Why not single out the apparel store next door?

OK, in fairness to Al, whoever posted and titled the YouTube video is the one providing misleading information not backed up by the content of the video. There may be reference in some other news story somewhere about him walking in to order food, but not in this news clip itself.

conflicting story. He had to be told it was there, but was too busy talking on the phone with family explaining the situation and that it could kill him.

Cop seemed calm, I think the news made a bigger deal of it than there was that happened. Not that being stabbed isn't serious, just that the guy wasn't in a panic over it ... look at the area it happened. Probably not uncommon for there.
