That's because what were originally "justice" systems, have devolved into "legal" systems, in which the result invariably have NOTHING to do with justice.
But simply to feed a profession that's main objective is to put as much money into their pockets, and that also includes judges, who were all once lawyers, go figure.
Regardless a huge man should know he's going down for doing what he did. Yes the kids were out of control but in the end, you can't let a huge man like him destroy a little girl.
