Rayden said:The first 2 games it was Jiggy in net and last night it was the Monster. As Bill Waters says, "show me a good goalie and I'll show you a good coach," goes hand and hand Bliss and since both goalies are doing well, GO LEAFS GO!!

skiierman said:I'd take that bet too..... just wait till Burke makes his next move. You don't really think he is done do you?
Here is something to think about..... Leafs have 4.8 million in cap space right now.
six other teams are over cap space and need to shed players.
The NJ Devils are already playing games without a full bench to try and reduce their payroll. Both the league and the NHLPA are not happy with what is going on and I am sure will do something about this shortly.
Someone is going to make a move...... Burke is in the wings waiting. Personally I would not be shocked to see the leafs package off Gunnerson in a trade where we take back a big salary.
png2 said:I suggest Travis Zajac to the Leafs for Gunnerson and a mid round pick, Toronto wins the trade short term, Devils get serious cap relief, and a good young defenceman.
skiierman said:that would clear their cap problems. He's got a cap hit of 3.9 million. He had 67 points last year too. I say lets do it.
png2 said:I think the trade helps both teams.
Parise is up for a new deal after this season, the Devils will need the cap space, and the Leafs pick up a good, young, big centre.
