As the Sportsnet commentators said: with the old leafs, in the game against the Rangers, they would have folded up and lost the game. The new leafs weathered the storm and came out with 2 points. It bodes well for the season. Everyone seems to have bought into the program and are running on all cylinders......

For the sake of argument however, the old leafs were on the ice when they had a 5 on 3 and didn't register a shot.......
