Okay, good news, Mariane did confirm that she's having phone troubles and Internet troubles at the same time. She called me from another phone, but she's still expecting to be there tomorrow. I'll pick her up, and bring her over. So the lunch is still on!

This is where I think her hippy mentality is getting in her way. I offered to buy her a cellphone, and just give it to her in exchange for a single session. She is refusing to accept that. She comes up with all kinds of excuses for it, like she wants to choose one herself, and then when i ask her if she's chosen one, she then switches to, that she can't afford one right now. I then point out that I had just offered her a free phone, and on and on it goes. Don't try to talk logic to Mariane, it's not part of her DNA.

I recently fixed up her old laptop, removed all of the viruses, and I even gave her a free Wi-Fi router to let her move around her house. She was pleased that I fixed up her laptop, but not so pleased about the router. When I asked why she's so afraid of the router? She finally said that she's afraid of catching radiation from the Wi-Fi signals! I told her not to worry about radio signals, not all radiation is the same. But I'm pretty sure she lost her Internet connection because she turned off her router and tried to go directly into the modem. I'll know for sure tomorrow when I pick her up. :LMAO:

Yeah, I'll text obviously. As for the ALO VIP card, I don't know if you can use. I assume yes. We may have to make all of the arrangements ourselves, since Mariane doesn't have any form of phone right now. I wonder if she's actually happier this way with all of her forms of communication cut off from the world!? :SayWhat?:

So, thanks for setting up the session today with Mariane, she's a very nice lady and the session brought back memories from the Cooper St days. I not only enjoyed the session but also her company at lunch and afterwards. BTW, she thinks very highly of you Blackram, thinks you're a really cool guy !!
I hope the arrangements with the spa worked out for her, I got the feeling she appreciated the few extra bucks. Maybe I should consider being her sugardaddy!! kidding Hmmmmmm I need that like another hole in my head!

Thanks again and hopefully we can get together again and have Skinflute and Ryan join us. I don't need to do Wednesday although the roast beef is good! The food today was good as well. Maybe we can make Mariane one of our occasional guests if she likes!

That explains a lot !! My daughter-in-law swears by Rogers but I've never been so happy as the day a few months ago Bell FIBE went in and Rogers went out. I've never had a phone (land-line) failure and the modem has never had to be re-booted since it was installed. Oh, and the TV picture is beyond comparable! Rogers better smarten up or they'll be out of business before too long.

I agree, when I switched from Rogers to Bell, I opted for the basic package. I always had Bell Sympatico and Bell land, therefore saving some $$$

Actually, I used my own PC to create her account there. Logged out of my own, and created hers, and set hers up on my own PC. Then when it was all done and set up, then I told her how to login from her own PC at home. She has since logged in from her own PC. Technically, this is my 3rd infraction this year, and usually they suspend people after they've had 3 infractions, but so far they haven't done anything. I think it may be because most of the infractions were minor technical stuff, and secondly I'm relatively well-known on the site.

Yeah, I just finished explaining to Mariane that there were going to be two other guys there today, and finished explaining "Rob" to her, when it turned out it wasn't even necessary, there was no "Rob" there. :no:

Yeah...sorry boys, this is a shitty time for me, end of May is very busy with an end of 3rd quarter (don't ask why in May...). And Thursdays are usually not good, but might get better into June. Hope to meet Mariane soon!
