Mason Students' Invention Fights Fires

I admire people who come up with new original ideas. :good:
 
I don't know if that would work on a "real" fire. You have to remove the heat (water) or the fuel (CO2 or Foams) to get a large fire out. This knocks out flames but I don't know what it would do if that fire had had more heat or fuel. Any idea is a good one whether it works or not. It either indicates a waste of time or generates more ideas. Eventually, a working idea can pop up.

consider the size unit needed to put out a residential structure.
Also it looks as if proximity to the flames might be a practical consideration.
