Thank you for that important information..However I am afraid it may not work for me .. I have been a diabetic since I was 8 and on insulin. my Pancreas is broken. it no longer produces any insulin.. so unless your cum can help with that it may not work.. but hey its worth a try..

The pump and tubing can be disconnected leaving only a very low profile quick-disconnect which accepts smooth, rounded clip-ins to prevent scratching your partner. They are very unobtrusive. The control the pump provides vs. individual shots, is beyond compare. I have used a pump since '99 for my Type 1 diabetes and a lot of the time, I don't know it's there. I have not been prevented from participating in an activity due to wearing it.

Understandable. Going to using the pump vs. shots was scary for me at first as well.
But the pump, in my opinion is the best tool available for diabetic control. Insert a catheter every three days, no more shots, only finger pricks for testing, portable with a 3 day supply of insulin and superior control. If you get a chance to have a demonstration, I highly recommend attending an information session just to check out the options.

I've had several clients who use an insulin pump, and it's really easy to work around where it hooks up, after they disconnect it for the session.
