He is now officially our new Mayor. He is in the process of some changes already,

attempt to scrap the streetcar project and replace it with a subway system,

get the street people off the street,

no new tax increases for next year,arty:



I think he is going to be great for the city. He actually seems to care what the public thinks unlike what we've had in the past.

I think it's great. Miller was as pompous and arrogant as they come, at least Rob Ford seems to be down to earth. A bit brash and maybe not as comfortable behind the mic, but at least he truly seems to want to make a change for the good.

Time will tell if Ford is the real deal. I think he may become overwhelmed with the Mayor's office responsibilities. He is going to rely heavily on his brother Doug. I believe Doug will be pulling many of the strings with Rob in Mayor's name only.

His major problem is that he doesn't have the council's votes on many of his ideas.
