Meaningful Christmas Ornaments

I have compiled quite a few Christmas ornaments throughout the years. Most relate to a specific time or event. What ornaments do you have that might be considered odd to someone else, but have some special meaning to you? My favorite at the moment is the pierogi ornament.

I have to ask - how did you end up with a perogie ornament? Hmmmmmm

I gave all my ornaments away when downsizing several years ago, but the best ones were probably the ones my kids made for me when they were little.

The siblings nearby get together after Thanksgiving to have a pierogi making day.
Make pierogis, drink wine and divvy up the production at the end of the day.

my sister and Aunt make tatted snow flakes, they're very pretty, and the ones I have hold a special meaning because they hand made them especially for me

I took this ornament with me when I got married and left home. It was the one I remembered best from my childhood. It dates to the 1950's, and hangs proudly on my tree every year.

We have a star that has been on top of Christmas trees through generations. We all get a kick out of it whenever we have our annual dinner at mom's.
