Sure, President Barack Obama got to deliver late-night-style monologue jokes about, and get apersonalized nickname jersey from, the Miami Heat when the two-time-defending NBA champions visited the White House last week, but first lady Michelle Obama was the one who got to take part in the Heat's favorite pastime: videobombing.
Mrs. Obama — or, as we're apparently going to have to start calling her, "Air FLOTUS" — is crushing apples and throwing down mini-rim dunks with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allenand head coach Erik Spoelstra to promote her to end childhood obesity.
As Michelle Obama/NBA players collaborations go, I'm going to say that this one is roughly as heartwarming as and just a smidge less hilarious than"rap album featuring Iman Shumpert."
If we can get a couple of dunk-related outtakes/deleted scenes, though — or maybe some first lady — I'd be willing to reconsider that last evaluation.
