Miramar cop released on bond after being charged with lewd conduct

A Miramar police captain is out of jail after being arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct on a child under age 16.Juan De Los Rios, 46, an 18-year veteran of the force with 28 years of experience in law enforcement, was released from jail after paying a $30,000 bond.

De Los Rios was arrested after a 15-year-old girl told police a man wearing a badge ordered her to undress. The girl said he made her take off her pants and unbutton her blouse to make sure she hadn’t had sex after De Los Rios saw her sitting in the back of a car with a 19-year-old friend.

De Los Rios told her to spread her legs and used a flashlight to inspect her.According to the arrest affidavit, the girl told police she and her friend were just talking.​
