[h=2]Transgender model Jenna Talackova gets reality TV gig[/h]

Canadian transgender beauty is getting her own reality TV show, set to air on E! this fall.

Eight 30-minute episodes of Brave New Girl will be filmed in Toronto this summer, following the former Miss Universe Canada contestant as she moves from Vancouver to pursue a career in modelling.

The 6-foot-1 model, who was born as a man, expressed her excitement Friday morning, tweeting, “(It’s official)!! Get ready for my reality show.”

Viewers will get to know Talackova’s entire entourage, including documentary filmmaker Elena and fellow model Dajana.

“I’m so happy to be sharing my life with the E! viewers,” said Talackova in a press release announcing the show. “It will be fun letting the world watch as I take the next steps in pursing my dreams.”
