There was a movie like that, back in the day, "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner", (1967), and a stage play, too, "Romeo and Juliet", (around 1600). The age difference had nothing to do with it, Cristy. Street gangs would never allow one of their members to date a transgendered woman. Keep in mind, they're the type of guys who would disembowel somebody, just because 'they look at you funny'.
I have a theory about that. I think a few of them have probably allowed the odd gay guy to blow them, before robbing him, and they probably liked it, but they don't want ANYONE to know, or their 'street cred' would go out the window, as soon as word got out, and grafitti got sprayed. The 'denial' aspect is what makes them so outwardly hypermasculine, to 'dispel rumors'.
Honestly, gays who are attracted to heterosexual men are, and always have been, the reason for this. As a natural blonde, who was almost six feet tall at age 12, I had gay guys hitting on me from the time I entered high school. Fortunately for me, I have very strong 'gaydar', and never fell for one of those traps. Lots of young men are not naturally endowed with that trait. The gays who get beaten up by gangs are frequently the ones who didn't have any gaydar, or who did, but didn't care.
This is why most heterosexual men are unsympathetic towards transgendereds, and gays in general: because they aren't content to be with their own kind.
Consider the high school locker room, after gym class, or after a football practice. A whole lot of guys are showering together. If all of the guys are heterosexual, there's no problem, each guy is 'attending to his own business'. If one or more of those guys is gay, however, that's a different story; he's checking out each guy's junk, just like a perv at a peep show would do, to women.
The hetero voyeur is vilified by society, but the gay voyeur is protected by 'hate crime' legislation. Nowadays, that's called 'equality'.
Not having anything to be ashamed of in the locker room shower conveys certain benefits, because the gay guy sees the junk, tells his platonic girlfriends about it, and one of them will want to see it for herself, 'then one thing leads to another'. The first girl to hit puberty has this same reaction, from the 'majority' group of 'slow pokes'. The problem today is that genetically modified foods are making kids hit puberty faster. What the sexual predator has always looked for is the combination of an 'adult' body and a child's mind, either in terms of IQ, or 'street smarts'. These predators come in all genders, but the media doesn't report the 'same sex' predators anymore, only the 'creepy old guys', and the female school teachers who get caught.
