You have to admit though a little drama does bring in the curious members. I hate a certain site but I admit I check to see the latest and predictable goings on.

I used to find the drama mildly entertaining, until it turned nasty. Now it just breaks my heart.

I pay attention to stats, and I believe I posted recently that the HUBGFE lounge has consistently had more people reading it, than any other review board forum across the country, including the big red board. We also have more individual members posting in the lounge more often than any other board of this size.

I don't believe in competition between the boards except in a healthy business sense.

Each community has it's own flavour - it must be the bacon that keeps me coming back here for more.

There is nothing wrong with disagreement and the sharing and discussion of different points of view. I take issue when a post is generated artificially with the hopes to elicit controversy or to just piss someone off. Thankfully, that occurs very little on HUBGFE.

Likewise, when something is posted that portrays a certain group in a negative light due to the actions of an individual.
I also understand the frustration members feel to forums outside of HUBGFE, but I don't feel the board is the right place to air those grievances. If you have a solution to a problem, offer it, but I see no gain in posting just to "poke the bear".
